Job Description
As aProject Manager at Marrano Marc-Equity Corporation, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the construction of new homes from the ground up. You will supervise subcontractors and crews to implement uniform, efficient building procedures and ensure adherence to established procedures and to building specifications. In your role as a Project Manager, you will spend your days visiting new construction sites and managing the onsite staff as our homes are built.
Reporting to our VP - Rochester Area Operations, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Organizing, monitoring, and managing multiple home sites from start to completion
Monitoring project progress and deadlines
Overseeing job site safety, ensuring building code requirements are met
Scheduling, managing, and overseeing trades
Coordinating with trades and suppliers on materials and timing
Responsible for monitoring quality control and documenting the construction of Marrano homes
Working directly with customers to schedule homeowner visits and homeowner orientations
Working with trades and suppliers on resolving product delays and quality issues to ensure the construction of our homes stays on schedule
Responsible for completion of any open items from the homeowner orientation. Also responsible for any items that need to be addressed up to 30 days after closing
Work with Customer care to investigate issues and provide direction back to customer care to resolve any Warranty issues
Responsible for keeping construction timelines set to ensure contract dates are met, and for maintaining overall safety and cleanliness of job sites
Coordinating home inspections with respective towns based on location.
Will need to work closely with internal counterparts on project-based work
Coordinating ongoing training for trades with our suppliers and manufactures to make sure they are following best practices
Implementing new processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiencies
Updating construction schedule in our construction software program
You are someone who has:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential or commercial construction
Previous construction management, preferred
Ability to read blueprints and house plans, required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Keen attention to detail, a must
Ability to provide exceptional quality service to external and internal customers
Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with people at all levels of an organization
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
Exceptional understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and Internet applications
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Capable of managing multiple priorities and projects
Effective management of workload with minimal direction
Capable of maintaining confidentiality
The compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
