Description

Courtesy Plumbing and Heating, a trusted and growing company serving the Castle Rock community for over 15 years, is seeking an Excavation Laborer to join our team. As an Excavation Laborer, you will be assisting in digging, moving, and preparing soil and other materials for projects. This position requires physical labor, an understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively as part of a construction team. Excavation laborers are involved in a variety of tasks on sites, such as digging trenches, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring that work areas are clean and organized. Responsibilities:
  • Operate hand tools and machinery to dig trenches, holes, and other excavation work. Assist in the preparation of sites for foundations, pipelines, and utility installations
  • Load, unload, and transport of materials and equipment
  • Ensure the proper handling of materials to avoid damage or accidents
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by organizing tools, equipment, and materials
  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of trench shoring or support systems to prevent cave-ins and ensure worker safety
  • Help machinery operators with the setup of heavy equipment like excavators and backhoes
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries on the job site
  • Support general labor duties as assigned by supervisors, including helping with handling other plumbing or drain-related tasks

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction or a similar labor-intensive role is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in all types of weather conditions
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors and machinery operators
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Great work ethic
  • Neat, clean and organized

Salary Description

$18-$25
