Job Description Summary:

The successful Project Manager, De Novo Construction, will project manage all aspects related to the construction of new clinic and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) locations from initiation to completion. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the project, ensuring adherence to both budget and schedule.

This job is a full-time, benefited position at Summit Spine & Joint Centers that reports to the Chief Administrative Officer. Your assigned location is the Company's administrative office in Lawrenceville, GA. This role will require travel throughout multiple states.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of de novo clinic and ASC construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with SSJC senior leadership.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely completion.
  • Liaise with all 3rd party support, including but not limited to architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to management of the procurement process, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor selection.
  • Manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements, especially all regulatory requirements related to healthcare compliance.
  • Provide regular updates on project status to senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication between all parties.
  • Gather, analyze, and report data for fiscal and statistical analysis.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills And Abilities:
  • Cohesive leadership and project management skills required.
  • Ability to utilize Gantt chart software, including MS Project.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to read, write, and speak in English fluently.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to address issues unique issues as they arise.
  • Ability to manage the performance of multiple 3rd party contractors at once, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics.

Education And Experience:
  • Must be willing to travel to all assigned locations
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in construction of healthcare facilities strongly preferred.
  • Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management (Ex. PMP or LEED certification) preferred
