As a Shop Foreman at Audi South Orlando, you be working in a state-of-the-art facility where it is climate controlled with state-of-the-art equipment. As a Shop Foreman you can anticipate wages between $130,000- $160,000 in annual pay. We also offer full benefits, 401K matching, employee purchasing perks, and PTO.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
  • Confidently and effectively lead, develop and grow a team of 30+ technicians with diverse personalities.
  • Provide timely, on-the-job assistance to technicians experiencing difficulty diagnosing and/or repairing vehicles
  • Collaborate with Audi of America engineers and technical assistance teams for extremely complicated repairs
  • Review the diagnostic results of any technician performing new and/or unfamiliar diagnostic procedures before major repairs have begun
  • Provide diagnostic and test drive assistance on the service lane as needed by the service sales staff
  • Meet regularly with Team Leaders, Service Manager/Director to report on shop production and review pending administrative matters
  • Follow the workflow processes set forth by the management team
  • Accomplish the production standards that have been established by the General Manager and the Service Director/Manager
  • Ensure that technicians follow policies and procedures for warranty repairs
  • Oversee used car techs as well as the Express team
  • Ensure videos, multi-point inspections, completion times, training etc. are all done in accordance with management, Audi of America and AutoNation requirements
  • Prepare estimates when required, review any estimates with the Service Director/Manager before quoting
  • Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures
  • Review repair orders turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been correctly performed and the repair order has been properly completed
  • Spot-check repairs daily to assure quality and timely completion
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
  • Schedule ambiance of service vehicles, tools and equipment
  • Follow Company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, dust and harsh chemicals

What are the requirements for this job?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • At least 10 years of experience at a fast-paced Audi dealership
  • Audi Master Level certification
  • Advanced diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbal
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to operate automatic and manual automobiles
